The Becoming

Inspired by the Nine Inch Nails song of the same name. Fairly macabre, but the concept is decently philosophical. Think the Matrix, just not as preachy or exaggerated.

Intension

No that's not a typo. Inspired by the Tool song of the same name, and yes it's the background of this site. The style is inspired by other Tool album artwork.

Third Eye

Can you tell I like music yet? Another work inspired by a Tool song.

AEnima

More music inspired artwork. A portmanteau of anima and enema, Tool had a special message for the city of L.A.: Learn to swim.

Bridge Closed

A Halo scene, spiced up a bit. Started as just a work to completely change the lighting of a scene and became a nice wallpaper.

Wings for Marie

Imagery inspired by arguably one of Tool's most ambitious tracks, I felt the need to depict what I saw when listening to it. Cue a raging storm over a delicate natural scene.

Encounter

Developed in collaboration with a 3D artist who came to me for help in terms of composition (among other things).

Early Mourning

Another collaboration with the 3D artist. This one, however, was planned out from the start with my post production efforts in mind.

Light Fuse, Run Away

Halo shot with plenty of post production. Basically, needed a new wallpaper.

Flawless Cowboy

A photo, manipulated with Halo imagery. A Halo photomanipulation. Inspired by the second level of Halo 1.

Flood Ray

A Halo inspired faked flood infection X-Ray.

Blue As our New Second Sun

I created this digital space illustration and combined it with a photo of me to produce me creating a digital space illustration. Meta.

PMCS

It'll send shivers down your spine, [among other things]. Inspired by a sketch drawn by a friend of mine.

Fountain

Photomanipulation done for a worth1000.com contest, before the site became crap. Science be damned; as you can see, the earth actually sits in a magical fountain. Probably somewhere in Zeus' rockin mansion.

Cancer

An electron micrograph of cancer... the loveable crab. Yeah, I didn't realize this was in bad taste at the time. Another entry for worth1000.com.

Flooding

My very first true photomanipulation. Done for an entry level worth1000.com contest where you take an image and manipulate it in any way. It won first place allowing me access to the higher level contests.
